Keto Friendly Protein Bars

You may not believe me but keto friendly protein bars are an excellent way to lose weight.

Whether you’re on a Keto diet or simply lead an active, always on-the-go lifestyle, these protein bars will give you all the nutrients you need while aiding weight loss.  But how?

Keto Friendly Protein Bars & Weight Loss

Before anything else, let me just say that not all protein bars can help you lose weight.

The right kind of protein bars, however, is another story.

Low in saturated fat, low-carb, low-sugar, low-carbohydrate keto friendly protein bars that are free from artificial ingredients are best if you want to lose weight.

Low carb low fat protein bar recipe for fast weight loss. The perfect combination.

The recommended daily allowance for fat, sugar and carbohydrates depends on your weight, activity level and medical history but generally speaking, you should choose a protein bar that has less than 2 grams of saturated fat, a maximum of 15 grams of total fat content and as much as possible, zero artificial sweeteners.

Instead, look for protein bars that are high in fiber.

Fiber-rich protein bars will fill you up until your next meal (or snack) and help curb hunger pangs.

Ideally, your protein bar of choice should have at least 3 grams of fiber to tide you over your next munch.

Calorie count is also another thing to watch out for when selecting the right kind of protein bar for you.

If you want to lose weight, keto friendly protein bars make excellent meal replacements as you can easily calculate your caloric intake and portion your meals throughout the day.

Most keto friendly protein bars are also low in sugar, carbohydrates and saturated fat which are often the culprits of weight gain.

If you’re on a keto diet, these protein bars make a convenient meal (or snack) that helps keep your body stay in ketosis mode.

Ketosis is a metabolic process wherein the body burns fat for energy, having been deprived of glucose.

When done religiously, the keto diet will help you lose flabs and promote steady weight loss while still giving your body all the nutrients it needs.

Best 6 Ready-to-Eat Keto Friendly Protein Bars

I know it can be quite overwhelming trying to figure out which of the thousands of protein bars out there best suit a keto diet.

That’s exactly why I’ve picked out 6 keto friendly protein bars I highly recommend based on taste and nutrition value.

Some I love more than others but all the protein bars I mention below are not ranked in any way.

1. Perfect Keto Protein Bars

These keto friendly protein bars are literally “perfect” in every sense of the word!

It’s partly sweet, kinda salty almond butter brownie taste hits the spot especially when you’re craving while on a keto diet.

It’s rather addicting, honestly. Not that there’s anything wrong with munching on a couple of bars every now and then as it’s filled with all the goodies your body needs.

The Perfect Keto Protein Bar is free from added sugars and sugar alcohols.

Instead, it uses stevia to sweeten this protein bar to perfection.

It is also gluten-free and dairy-free, making it a great option if you’re sensitive to those ingredients.

Based on the ingredients list, it contains soluble tapioca fiber, sunflower lecithin, collagen protein, cacao butter, organic almond butter, organic cocoa, almond butter and sea salt – all natural and mostly organic.

One bar gives you 10 grams of protein and only 3 grams of carbohydrates, which is a winner in my list!

Honestly, I can’t say anything bad about these keto friendly protein bars!

2. InstaKetones Protein Bars

If you’re looking for something that can fuel you for about 4 hours or so, aka a keto friendly meal replacement that you can just chuck in your bag and go, I highly recommend InstaKetones Protein Bars.

I’ve heard a lot of rave reviews about this orange-flavored protein bar and I can only say it truly lives up to the hype.

InstaKetones Protein Bars pack 15 grams of protein, 14 grams of fiber and 8 grams of fat per bar.

That means it has just the right amount of fat to help your body stay in ketosis mode while keeping you “full” (courtesy of fiber) until your next keto compliant meal.

These keto friendly protein bars are also popular among those who work out as many have claimed it ups their energy levels sans stimulants.

I can’t think of anything I don’t like about InstaKetones but it might be a problem if you’re not fond of orange-flavored stuff.

3. Keto-Crave Energy Bars

Next up is another one of my favorite keto friendly protein bars that is high fat and high fiber.

The Keto-Crave Energy Bars contain the perfect amount protein-fat-carbohydrates ratio with each bar providing you 9 grams of protein, 16 grams of fat and just 5 grams of carbs.

It also contains 8 grams of fiber which help tide you over your next keto meal or keto-friendly snack.

What I really like about this cocoa almond-flavored protein bar is that it also has MCT oil. MCT, short for medium-chain triglycerides, is a kind of fat that’s naturally found in oils like coconut oil and palm kernel oil and dairy products.

Although it is technically fat, it is the type of fat that doesn’t sit around (and give you flabs) and one that makes an excellent source of energy when you’re body is in ketosis mode.

MCT fats have been scientifically proven to promote weight loss, increase endurance and boost energy levels, contribute to better brain health and lowers cholesterol and blood sugar levels.

If you’re new to the ketogenic diet, keto friendly protein bars like this can help you stay on track even when you’re busy or simply craving for a little something in between meals.

4. Bulletproof Collagen Protein Bars Review

Are you obsessed with collagen protein (and the softer, suppler skin that follows thereafter)?

Then Bulletproof Collagen Protein Bars are for you! Filled with collagen proteins from grass-fed cows, each bar of gives you 12 grams of protein plus a dose of healthy fats in the form of brain octane oil.

Brain octane oil is kinda like MCT oil (but claims to be more beneficial?), a form of natural energy essentially found in coconut oil.

It’s been linked to a lot of health benefits including better cognitive function, energy boost, fewer food cravings, healthier digestion and improved immune function.

I love that it comes in 3 flavors: vanilla shortbread, lemon cookie and mint chocolate chip, so you can always look forward to your keto friendly meal replacement or snack! And oh, it is also gluten-free!

5. Keto Bars - Keto Bars Chocolate Coconut

Classic, mouthwatering chocolate peanut butter, mint chocolate and dark chocolate coconut almond flavors await you come mealtime (or snack time) with Keto Bars!

I’ve got to tell you that these are no non-sense keto friendly protein bars that’ll pass even the most meticulous label geek.

Each bar contains less than 10 very familiar ingredients, except maybe erythritol, a sugar alcohol that tastes just like sugar minus the calories. Stevia is also in the mix.

Keto Bars are homemade and are undeniably delicious.

Bursting with flavor, they are surprisingly moist and quite dense.

I think even people who aren’t on a ketogenic diet can appreciate the taste of these keto friendly protein bars!

You get up to 21 grams of healthy fats, up to 8 grams of protein and approximately 3 grams of carbohydrates in each bar.

6. Pegan Protein Bars

I initially planned on including only 5 keto friendly protein bars in my “recommended” list but I just have to mention Pegan Protein Bars.

I know finding vegan and vegetarian-friendly protein bars can be a challenge so I’m making it easier for you!

Quest hero bars keto and primal kitchen bars nutrition are also  good brands which are very similar.

Pegan Protein Bars make use of protein from plant sources, with each bar providing a whopping 20 grams of plant protein.

It is naturally-sweetened and has zero added or artificial sugars. It is also gluten and soy free!

What I really like about Pegan Protein Bars is the variety.

It comes in 2 variants: thin and thick and each variant comes in 5 flavors: lava chocolate, sweet sunflower, vanilla cinnamon twist, ginger snap cookie and cinnamon raisin roll.

The taste may take some getting used to but it’s definitely a neat option for vegans and vegetarians out there in need of clean protein!
