Here is a list of healthy food to eat when you want to lose some serious weight.

These foods are easy and simply to get even if you are on a budget. 

Get some ideas for clean eating and to speed up your weightloss process.

I compiled this list of top 10 Healthiest Foods to eat because this is easy to remember and follow.

I deliberately left out ingredients that count as food.

Think of ginger, garlic, onions and more of those ingredients that you add to your food to make it healthy.

So this list contains only whole foods. You can eat this daily and are ready available at your grocery store.

So no supplements or exotic foods that are only available during the summer.

Losing weight should be a fun and easy process.

1. Salmon

Salmon is a great choice to add to your daily diet. It does not matter whether it is fresh or frozen.

Fresh wild salmon will always be the best option.

What makes this better than chicken is that wild salmon is full of protein and omega-3 fatty acids.

Omega-3 is linked to tons of health benefits.

It may help to lower the blood pressure and decrease the risk of having a heart attack or stroke.

Just 3 ounces is enough to have 50% of your daily niacin dose, which helps you to protect against memory loss and Alzheimer.

If you don’t like the taste of fish, then it is better to have Omega-3 supplement pills.

2. Walnuts

Nuts in general are full of good nutrients and fats.

What makes walnuts stand out above their peers is that they contain more antioxidants than any other nut.

It is also rich in Omega-3, which we already discussed above. 

It helps to regulate your blood sugar level and in this way also helps to improve your weight loss efforts.

Walnuts are good to have as a snack as they suppress your appetite.

This makes you crave less for food such as French fries and other unhealthy foods. 

The best part, you carry them everywhere in your bag and snack on them whenever you feel healthy.

3. Spinach

Spinach is a food that you can get in every grocery store and it does not even matter if its fresh or frozen.

The health benefits are many and it is a good for weight loss.

You can put this with your dinner as it will give you the right vitamins and it is low in calories.

4. Avocado’s

This is one of my favorite food. I just like to have this on my sandwich or tortilla with a bit of salt on it.

It is full of good fats and other vitamins to lower your cholesterol.

It is a good weight loss food because the healthy fats in avocados will make you burn all that stored extra fat. 

The fat and fiber are good enough to make you feel full for a longer amount of time.

This is going to make you snack less and helps fighting against consuming those extra calories.

Tip: add avocado in your sandwich or salad.

Try also cooking with avocado oil. It’s not so famous as olive oil, but it provides you with lots of antioxidants and healthy fats.

5. Beans

Rule of thumb is that beans contain more antioxidants when they are darker.

The best part about beans is that the stomach digests them in a very slow manner.

So this will keep you satiated for a longer amount of time. Beans are rich in good nutrients, think of: protein, fiber and calcium.

Tip: Eat more Mexican food to consume more beans. You can find them in all kinds of Mexican recipes! You can put them in burritos and more.

6. Sardines

Sardines are rich in vitamin D and omega-3 fats and therefore a good for your health in general.

Vitamin D and the omega-3 fats will help your body burn more fat and good in reducing inflammation in your body.

I usually get mine canned and that doesn’t make any difference at all.

Sardines are also way more sustainable than the other big fish such as tuna and salmon.

They are at the bottom of the food chain and only eat plankton. They don’t have lots amount of toxins such as the bigger fish.

Sardines are a good and cheap way to get the right nutrients your body needs so bad for a cheap price.

Note: for all the pregnant ladies, you should follow the doctors advice as pregnant women only can have a certain amount of fish weekly. This is my all-time fav pack of sardines and recommended by Tim Ferriss.

It gives your body lots of energy and protein and the stomach digests it slowly.

Quinoa might not be very known for some people. This food is getting very popular under the Vegans.

And they are quite right about that.

It is easy and simple to make. You just cook it 15-20 minutes and it is done. It is full of fiber and protein.

It can be a replacement for white rice and it will help you feel full longer and makes you crave less for snacks. Get the right quinoa here:

One of the foods in this list that is very common and simple.

There is a misunderstanding that the egg yolk is bad for you. That is just as long as you don’t eat six of them in a row.

But if you eat one or two eggs on a daily basis, then it is not a problem at all.
